Official User Manual & Functionality Guide

1. Getting Started

Welcome to your browser-based professional mixing station. No installation is required. This tool runs entirely in your web browser, ensuring your files stay private and secure on your device.

  • Supported Files: MP3 (Audio), MP4 (Video).
  • Privacy: Local processing only. No data is uploaded to any server.
  • Compatibility: Best experienced on Chrome, Edge, or Firefox (Desktop).

2. Interface Overview

A. The Decks (Deck A & Deck B)

Just like physical hardware, you have two independent players.

  • SCREEN Displays the music video or audio placeholder.
  • PLAY Starts or pauses the track. Green glow indicates activity.
  • CUE Instantly stops playback and returns to the start (0:00).
  • PITCH Controls tempo. Slide Up to slow down, Down to speed up.

B. The Mixer (Center)

The control center for blending your audio.

  • Crossfader: The bottom horizontal slider.
    • Far Left: Only Deck A is audible.
    • Center: Both decks mix (50/50).
    • Far Right: Only Deck B is audible.
  • VU Meters: Visual bars indicating volume levels.

3. How to Mix

  1. Import: Use the "Music Library" section to select files from your computer.
  2. Load: Click LOAD A next to a track for the left deck.
  3. Play: Start Deck A. Ensure the Crossfader is to the Left.
  4. Cue: Load a second track into Deck B.
  5. Transition: Press Play on Deck B, then slowly slide the Crossfader from Left to Right to blend the songs.

4. Recording & Broadcasting

Recording Your Set

  1. Click the round REC button in the mixer.
  2. Status will change to "REC ON". Perform your mix.
  3. Click REC again to stop.
  4. A popup will appear asking you to Name Your Mix.
  5. The file (.webm) saves immediately to your Downloads folder.

Go Live Mode

Click the 📡 GO LIVE button in the top header.

  • Activates your webcam and overlays it on the console (DJ Cam).
  • Adds an "ON AIR" badge to the interface.
  • Note: This simulates a live environment for screen recording software (like OBS).

5. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound? Check if the Crossfader is on the correct side for the playing deck.
  • Video Lag? 4K videos may cause stuttering. We recommend 720p or 1080p files.
  • Browser Support: If recording fails, ensure you are not in "Incognito Mode" or using an unsupported mobile browser.
